AMP Services is currently seeking a responsible Part-Time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities as well as supporting and maintaining office function and organization.

This is a Part-Time Position, 25-30 hours per week.

What You’ll Do:

    • Works directly with the Firm Administrator to provide office support to firm.
    • Greets clients and answers direct phone calls with exceptional service.
    • Handles administrative requests and queries from senior managers
    • Organizing and scheduling appointments, lunches and events
    • Cutting and stuffing a high volume of client checks with speed and accuracy with a strong attention to detail. (experience with QuickBooks is a plus)
    • Daily mailing, and post office runs
    • Maintaining files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
    • Scanning and review of accounting and tax related documents with a great strong level of detail.
    • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
    • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
    • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers. Keep office, kitchen and storage areas, stocked, organized and well-maintained.
    • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.)
    • Assist in office management and organization procedures.
    • Data entry — accuracy is essential.
    • Maintain Contact lists
    • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
    • Provide general support to visitors
    • Not afraid of numbers

    • Restaurant experience is a plus.

    • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required.
    • This position is heavily clerical. A successful individual in this role would truly enjoy clerical work and would have the ability to work with efficiency and keep themselves busy at all times.
    • Very good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
    • Strong planning skills.
    • Self-directed and independent; accountable to tasks.
    • Proven experience as office assistant or other clerical position. Prior professional services firm experience a plus.
    • Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
    • Working knowledge of office devices and processes
    • A fast typist with above average 10-key skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Flexibility and eagerness to learn and take on new tasks
    • A successful individual would be someone that is committed to continuous improvement.
    • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word, ability to learn new systems easily
    • Perform other office duties as assigned.
